In
this day and age, young women are still surrounded by magazines which
tout that "being skinny" is better than having a little more weight.
What many people fail to realize is that it is ok (and in most cases)
considered healthy to have some curves. That being said, we are
starting to see the emergence of a new type of model- the plus size
model. Models of all shapes and sizes can now be seen modeling plus size lingerie and not just that- it's sexy plus size lingerie! Believe it or not, many men prefer plus size women, thus creating more of a market for plus size lingerie and sexy plus size lingerie
to be bought, sold and worn by women of every background. It is nice to
know that lingerie is no longer just for the skinny model who doesn't
eat anything but ice cubes all day. Realize that we live in a very
diverse world and that it is ok to not have your ribs sticking out.
Also realize that you can be viewed as "being healthy" if you weigh a
little more than what those magazines tell you!
