As recommended by the AAPD and ADA, you should bring your child in to see your dentist
by no later than their first birthday, or even by the time they get
their first tooth, usually between the age of 6 to 12 months.
What Can I Expect At My Child’s First Visit
The dentist can perform a simple visual exam to evaluate your
child’s oral health and determine their risk for developing dental
disease. A gentle cleaning and fluoride application is usually
