dental veneer is a thin layer of restorative material placed over the
surface of a tooth. It is usually done to protect a damaged tooth
surface. It may also be done to improve the aesthetics of a tooth. This
veneer is fabricated from one of two main materials – composite or
dental porcelain. The main difference between these two materials is
that the composite can be placed directly in the mouth – i.e. built-up
in the mouth or fabricated indirectly by a dental technician in a
